In an age where preserving knowledge and information from books and DOCUMENTs is crucial, traditional manual scanning methods are tedious and error-prone. It involves a lot of human intervention and, as a result, sometimes results in erroneous DIGITIZATION, which makes the downstream tasks, such as optical character recognition, difficult. Therefore, innovative techniques are required to be proposed that not only reduce human effort in terms of DIGITIZATION but also give highly accurate results over the recently proposed state-of-the-art techniques. We proposed a novel computer vision-based algorithm that combines Gray-Level Co-occurrence Matrix (GLCM) features with Thepade's 10-ary texture features (TSBTC) for video frame classification. This hybrid approach significantly enhances frame selection accuracy, ensures high-quality DIGITIZATION, and accommodates multiple languages and DOCUMENT types. We also proposed a dataset of 54,000 diverse images to demonstrate our algorithm's effectiveness in real-world scenarios and compare it to existing methods, making a valuable contribution to DOCUMENT DIGITIZATION. The proposed dataset can be utilized for several DOCUMENT image analysis tasks.

Purpose: This paper proposes a framework for developing a policy for DIGITIZATION of archival materials at the National Archives of Iran (NAI).Method and Research Design: The first phase included a number of interviews carried out with professional archivists at NAI. Then DIGITIZATION policies of a number of countries were examined. Finally Delphi technique was used to reach to consensus. Findings: Findings indicated that 18 criteria are essential for a policy of DIGITIZATION. At this time the NAI meets only 7, including selection of records, technical equipment and requirements, digital DOCUMENT organization policy, labeling, description, legal issues, and access policy.

Purpose: The aim of the present research is to study the effects of the digitalization of the system on the organizational effectiveness of academic libraries based on Parsons' theoretical model of the four functions of social systems. Methodology: The research population consisted of 12 academic libraries in Tehran, which were studied in three levels of high, average and low based on the degree of digitalization. This analytical-practical research employs the survey research method and uses a researcher-created checklist and a standard questionnaire to collect data. Excel, SPSS16, and Smart PLS software were used to describe and analyze data. Findings: The results of the study support its general conceptual framework and its assumptions. The findings show that in general, there is a significant positive correlation between the digitalization of academic libraries and factors determining organizational effectiveness. Digitalization of the system has the highest impact on innovation, organizational health or morale, organizational commitment and the job satisfaction of librarians in order of priority. In terms of the level of digitalization, 50% of academic libraries were at" level average", 33% were at "level high" and 17% were at "level low. The highest digitalization score earned by academic libraries was 65. 21% and the lowest score was 22. 22%. F-test results show that statistically, there is a significant difference between «level average» and «level low» libraries in terms of the librarians' innovation and organizational commitment. The average organizational commitment and innovation is higher in "level low" libraries than "level average" libraries.

Promoting positive attitude towards an innovation and having it accepted by people is the goal of any innovator. In the recent years Iranian national TV has tried to attract more audience in competition with other media by digitizing its channels and improving the quality of its programs. This research aims to explore the attitude of the people of Nurabad in the province of Lorestan towards DIGITIZATION of Iranian TV channels and the increase in their number. Regarding the innovational improvement of Iranian TV we tried to answer the following questions: do the benefits coming with an innovation explain people’s attitude toward that innovation? Is this attitude affected by their personal traits? We used survey research as the methodology and using Cochran’s method we found 384 people as a representative sample of all adults living in the city who are over 15 years old. Our sampling method was integrative and synthetic and the sample was chosen by quota multistage sampling. For data gathering we used a questionnaire made by the researcher. A number of professors and scholars confirmed the validity of the questionnaire and its reliability was confirmed by Cronbach's (alpha) which resulted 0.74. Descriptive results of the research show that 67.8 percent of the audiences had a positive attitude towards DIGITIZATION of the network and their increased number. Analytical results of the research indicate that there were significant relations between the attitude of the audiences toward an innovation and their level of religiousness, their liking of the Islamic Republic, credibility of the Iranian national TV in their minds, the success of the local TV programs, their level of knowledge, advantageousness of the innovation, the experience of previous use of the innovation, the visibility of the results of using the innovation. There were no significant relations between factors such as age, gender, level of education, and socio-economic class of the respondent and also their access to the satellite channels. Regression analysis showed that 46 percent of the changes of the dependent variable can be explained by the independent variables.

All of the old paper-based land DOCUMENTs should be transformed to digital georeferenced form. In DIGITIZATION of parcels to be able to be imported into a cadastral system, the area of the digital form of the polygon should be in concordance with the analog DOCUMENT. However, during the DIGITIZATION process, geometric properties, such as area, changes. Preserving the dimensions and area prevents the contradiction in DOCUMENTs and, registration and trading quarrels. In order to solve this problem, angles of the polygon vertexes are considered as observations by keeping the dimensions fixed and a method based on the least-square adjustment is proposed. Executing the invented process, the required concordance is acquired. For checking this method, a paper map having six parcels each with about one thousand m2 area in 1: 1000 scale is scanned and digitized by preserving area and dimensions. Results showed that the mean, maximum and minimum movement by using adjusting method is in average 19. 31, 26. 96 and 10. 50 respectively that is acceptable from the land registration aspect because of map scale and cadastral law about cultivation and national parcels.

Small manufacturing companies, as the main actors of the national and industrial innovation system, need to realize open innovation through DIGITIZATION capabilities to gain competitive advantage in the digital economy. However, existing researches are based on review studies and retrospective data, which has led to insufficient understanding of the issue. In this regard, the current research aims to investigate the impact of digitalization capabilities on open innovation among small manufacturing businesses. Also, the moderating role of environmental dynamics and managers' digital awareness was also investigated in the model. This research is applied in term of goal, and a descriptive-survey research in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of the research includes the senior managers of small manufacturing companies in Tehran. Research data collection tool is a standard questionnaire whose validity and reliability were confirmed. Finally, data analysis by structural equation modeling with SmartPLS software indicates that digitalization capabilities have a positive and significant impact on open innovation in small manufacturing companies. It was also found that environmental dynamism moderates the impact of digitalization capabilities on open innovation. But the moderating role of managers' digital awareness in this direction was not confirmed. These results shed light on the role of DIGITIZATION capabilities to drive open innovation in small manufacturing businesses and provide solutions for digital transformation and open innovation of these companies.

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the benefits and limitations of DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects in the context of cultural heritage (Libraries, archives, and museums) and to increase the focus and attention to the DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects that are at risk.Methodology: This study has been done by a systematic review of resources in the Scopus database. The retrieved resources are then analyzed and visualized by Excel and VOSviewer software.Findings: DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects affects the way of access, protection, and management of cultural heritage and has led to the democratization of content, increased global access, and preservation of cultural heritage objects. DIGITIZATION will stimulate the integration of libraries, archives, and museums in the context of cultural heritage due to the numerous overlaps in terms of public functions. DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects also has challenges such as financial issues, lack of expertise skills, legal restrictions on intellectual property, technology obsolescence, the digital divide in societies, the risk of distortion and alteration of information and metadata in the web environment, and finally, the user perceives the sensation of a digitized object relative to its physical version.Conclusion: DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects by advanced technologies, in addition to paving the way for the integration of libraries, archives, and museums, has created a new renaissance for cultural heritage objects in the context of cultural heritage. The role of DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects in libraries, archives, and museums is significant, especially during the Covid 19 Pandemic, for remote access and greater audience access to cultural centers. However, it is important to note that our approach to digitalization should be modular, extensible, and flexible to be effective in sustainable protection. Let us also keep in mind that the DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects, with all its benefits, will never replace physical experiences, but will complement and accompany natural cultural objects in the context of cultural heritage.Value: This study, for the first time, analyzes the benefits and limitations of DIGITIZATION of cultural heritage objects in the context of cultural heritage and can be useful for decision-makers and policymakers in the field of cultural heritage.
